When the night comes,
And the darkness falls,
When all roads lead,
To the void of the heart,
I am there...


When coldness,
Is the only protection,
From the burning confusion,
Of your life around you,
I am there...


When those you thought,
Would never leave you,
Forget your name,
And leave you far behind,
I am there...


When your life seems pointless,
A circle,
Of meaninglessness,
Endings,
I am there...


I am there,
Always,
Until you no longer wish it,
Or life pulls us apart,
And if there is a way,
And if it is possible,
We will be together again,
And if it is not possible,
Then we just have to make it so,
Just so long as we both want it...
I wish I could be sure you always will...


Always is a long time,
Not long enough some say,
But saying,
Even meaning,
Is not enough,
For time changes,

Will bring us closer together,
Will tear us apart,
No one can tell,
Yet we can decide...


What do you want?
And do you want it enough?
Often I think you do not,
Or you would not do the things you do,
Sometimes,
Or say the things you say...


I know that things,
Are not as they could be,
Possibly,
They would be,
Will be different,

There is money...


But we do not know,
That there ever will be,
And what if there is not...?


I do not think,
That I can take you being,
The way you are,
When there is no money,
And work,
In a bad job...


You do not know how hard,
It is to see one you love so much,
So unhappy,
And not be able to help,
And if I try if it is wrong,
You get mad,
Or do not notice,
And seldom thank,
And often reject...


You are used to giving,
Not taking,
At least not taking what is given,
You will take what is not yours to take,
But why do you find gifts demeaning?
I do not understand...


I try to,
But sometimes I do not think you try,
To reach out to me,
When I need you,
Or you need me,
And you reach out,
To others,
And they reach back,
And cling,
And think that you are the one for them,
When you want a friend,
And someone to care about you...


I just want to be sure,
That you love me,
Like I love you,
And you want this,
Like I do...


I love you so much,
I would do anything for you,
Would you do the same for me...?
